Current Need

The person in this position will act as the primary Inventory point of contact for one or more high profile / high volume National Accounts and/or GPOs providing full spectrum support for all inventory/service level issues.

Position Description

The primary role is to support the National Buying Center and Retail / Hospital National Accounts by providing Service Level and Inventory Analysis, Reporting and Forecasting. Additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, interfacing w/ suppliers, customer service, RNA and MHS Account Management teams, National Account customers, field sales and RDC/FDC operation clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis of Issues related to Account and SL Mgmt, including mitigation of customer omit issues, forecasting/trending for sales rates. Determining root cause and implementing solutions.

* Reporting and analysis, primarily SAP Business Intelligence tools, based on interpretation of contractual agreements to include complex customer formularies, item coding and advanced variables. Requires ability to compile data from multiple sources

* Primary Point of Contact for low to medium volume / profile accounts with manager support. Works on issues involving reporting, omit resolution and forecast trending. Builds and maintains relationship with customer and internal support teams in other areas.

* Evaluates current processes for efficiencies, and as appropriate suggests, tests and implements improvements to save time, money or improve customer satisfaction

* Partners with team members & clients to assist others with skill development

* Standardized and Ad-hoc reporting and analysis accessing multiple data points. Build reports from 1-2 data sources including simple variables; run & manage output from reports using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Access; creation of graphs and charts; Power Point presentation creation and Basic Business Object query development.

Minimum Requirements

Requires 2 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain Field.

Critical Skills

* 2+ years in analytical / root cause analysis experience

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Solid skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

* Knowledgeable of inventory, supply chain, and working with internal and external stakeholders

* Experience with data mining systems, Business Objects preferable

* Process improvement orientation

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field or equivalent experience
