Job description

Our client is one of the largest Specialty Technology Contractors in the world with a division focused on unique technology solutions for the medical marketplace, the Medical Innovations Group (MIG). As part of that, the MIG is registering with FDA and ISO 13485, and these certifications require a significant educational and training component.

The MIG works closely with B2B partners and enterprise clients inside the medical industry. MIG provides design and integration services for a variety of diagnostic and treatment spaces within hospitals and variety of medical facilities.

The MIG is looking for an AV and/or IT training professional to lead the development of a formal training program for our internal resources and the resources of our B2B and enterprise clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and manage the training program for MIG's Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams in accordance of "AV Industry's Best Practices" and the MIG Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Develop and manage the training program for our B2B partners and clients in the sales, demonstration and troubleshooting MIG's products and services.
  • Coordinate training curriculum with regulatory in meet with MIG's QMS requirements.
  • Develop processes for tracking individual training paths for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
  • Design and develop training programs, develop learning activities, audio-visual material, WebEx's and on-line training resources, instructor guides, and lesson plans.
  • Review and evaluate external industry training accessibility, resources, objectives and accomplishments relative to internal training needs
  • Manage any training support available through our manufacturer/vender partners
  • Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance and will make course corrections and revisions as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years or more of related AV/IT industry experience
  • Over 5 years training, organizational development, counseling/coaching or related experience and five years of project management.
  • Experienced in Medical Device Sales and Use Training
  • CTS, CTS-I and CTS-D certifications
  • Expert knowledge of Industry and standards in AV/IT systems design and integration
  • Ability to properly communicate with a wide range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce
  • Experience in working with variety of disciplines from Sales to Engineering as well as senior organizational leaders.

Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of FDA Class II and ISO 13485 training requirements
