ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST/CONSULTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Corporate Level

Air, Water, Due Diligence, Waste

  • Collect plant data, quality check, and prepare Local, State, and Federal compliance reports o Annual Emission Inventory Reports o Annual Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Reports o Annual Tier II Reports o Semi-annual and annual Title V deviation reports o TSCA Chemical Data Reports o DMR's o City compliance reporting
  • Major and minor Title V permitting
  • Review and analyze production and processing data
  • Prepare SWP3 and SPCC plans and oversee compliance, reports, sampling
  • Provide support and guidance for inspections
  • Provide support for stack testing and reporting
  • Provide support and research for national industry association for rulemaking process
  • Environmental due diligence for property acquisitions.
  • Perform Applicability Determinations for CAA and CWA regulations
  • Perform on-site environmental compliance audits

Plant Level

  • Provide support for wastewater and stormwater compliance
  • Track and report groundwater usage to Groundwater Conservation Districts
  • Review CEMs data and reporting
  • Facilitate State and local agency inspections
  • Train personnel on air and water permits, plans, issues, and regulations

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

5-10 years of environmental experience with emphasis in air permitting. B.S. in Science

or engineering. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel. 10-20% travel.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Provide support to plant improvements, new plant build-outs, pond management, etc.
  • Manage sampling and laboratory results
  • Waste tracking
  • Work with plants and accountants for data collection
  • Review emission factors against API42, Industry standards, stack testing
  • Acquisitions-Site Review/due diligence assessments/permitting
  • Reclamation Projects
  • Standardization of environmental programs
  • Plant Modifications, Review NSR/PSD provide support for permitting
  • Diesel Engines (compliance)
  • Oversee stack testing, RATA's
  • Internal environmental audits
