HERE'S HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President - Talent Acquisition, the Executive Recruiter will develop and manage the recruiting strategy for leadership roles at the Director level and above. S/he will drive all aspects of executive recruitment including contracting and oversight of external search firms, vendor relationships, client and candidate management, candidate sourcing and offer/negotiations. In addition, this role will work closely with the institution's leaders and community stakeholders to develop talent pipelines to support the current and future needs of the organization. The Executive Recruiter will form a strong partnership with the executive compensation consultant to ensure competitive and market relevant compensation offerings. Lastly, s/he will contribute to the objectives of the overall Talent Acquisition strategy and process improvement initiatives.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible human resources and 2 years of supervisory experience. Experience to include executive and C-Suite recruiting, candidate negotiations, and proven experience in creative and innovative sourcing strategies. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
JOB DUTIES
- Manages and recruits for the executive and professional recruiting activities of the institution to employ, place and/or transfer internal and external, managers, professionals, technicians or support staff to ensure adequate staffing.
- Oversight of executive search firm contracting and liaising with firms and department leaders when necessary.
- Manages the Talent Acquisition activities of the institution to employ, place and/or transfer internal and external, managers, professionals, technicians or support staff to ensure adequate staffing.
- Evaluates selection criteria and testing techniques to ensure compliance to standards.
- Ensures the Talent Acquisiton process is conducted efficiently, economically and in accordance with the organization's policies and standards.
- Creates various Talent Acquisition reports and compiles statistics as requested.
- Creates, updates and maintains documents spreadsheets for tracking and auditing purposes.
- Develops, revises, recommends, and interprets policies and procedures for division and employees to ensure all applicable laws and governmental guidelines are followed. Ensures all employees and job applicants are treated in an equitable manner. Manages UT System Diversity Recruiting rules and goals.
- Assists departments in reorganizing processes and procedures, developing staffing patterns, developing advertising campaigns, and/or Talent Acquisition plans.
- Researches targeted industries, companies, organizational structures and individuals. Cultivates relationships with external associations and business search firms and manages third party relationships with outplacement and search firms.
- Promotes the Talent Acquisition and selection of a diverse executive workforce.
- Responsible for networking and promoting the organization to community partners and managing community sponsored events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
