Job description
The Human Resource Business Partner is a high impact role responsible for building trusted relationships with key executives and managers and having direct accountability for the HR outcomes and results. In this role, you will be raising the level of strategic HR focus throughout your scope of responsibility, partnering with business leaders on HR initiatives and driving employee engagement and business performance through strategic human resources management and processes
This position partners with our Operations (Field Service & Distribution) teams, providing a wide variety of responsibilities including advising, guiding and partnering with leaders and their teams in core practices, providing information and advice around talent strategy in a proactive, results-oriented way that is aligned with our business strategy.
Responsibilities
Business & People Strategic Alignment:
* Able to quickly quantify and qualify talent-related decisions and how those decisions maximize the business outcomes, especially in a commercial setting
* Proactively identifies people, processes, systems or inventions needed to unlock talent potential or avoid de-railers
* Partners with business leaders to deliver organization optimization through people, talent decisions and performance.
* Translates business strategy to talent strategies and actions, proactively anticipating changes and implications to the business and working with leaders to enable changes
* Assists business leaders by anticipating and solving organization, people and change-related issues
* Strategically manage workforce planning for the functions; this includes attracting, developing and retaining industry-leading talent in the operations function.
* Understands the business deeply and will influence changes within the function to meet or exceed business outcomes in partnership with functional leaders.

* Drives alignment with the organization's culture

* Drive the talent selection process and work with recruiting to hire exceptional talent, achieve time to fill goals and ensure we are building pipelines for potential openings.
Talent Enablement:
* Conduct organization assessment with the functions and upgrade talent through strategic staffing and talent pipeline development
* Respond to employee concerns and provide employee relations guidance to leaders in order to ensure effective application of company policies/procedures and company culture to minimize legal risks, complaints, charges and turnover.
* Investigate root causes of employee relations issues and develop strategies to address/reduce them.
* Serve as a subject matter expert to ensure accurate and appropriate mitigation strategies and tactics are in place. Demonstrate balanced advocacy for employees and the business.
High Growth & Integrative Orientation :
* Experience in organizations that have undergone significant growth, change, and/or national expansion
* Provide insights that can enable business leaders to understand capabilities needed to attain high performance
* Establish and maintain standards and frameworks to drive cross functional alignment and clarity on ways of working.
* Act as the point of escalation including prioritizing, resourcing, managing expectations to ensure roadmaps are delivered against and driven to execution.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree (Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources) or 6+ years experience in high-growth environment in a professional role.
* Experience in a multi-site/multi state workforce; California employment/labor laws is a requirement
* Proven track record in achieving expected project results
* Experience leading HR processes within a complex, matrix organization
* The ability to move quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in talent management and employee engagement
* Experienced in leading teams for high performance, including managing performance, coaching, handling conflict and developing employees
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across the organization
* Strong business acumen
* Strong communication and change management experience with proven track record of success in leading change
* Problem solving/analysis
Preferred Requirements:
* MBA or Masters' degree in Human Resources/OE preferred
* Process improvement experience and/or training
* Experience in influencing and coaching remote clients
* Experience is developing compensation programs, including sales incentive plans
