Lease Administrator Job Description

This position will support the Account Director in managing all leasing aspects of the portfolio of commercial medical office buildings, including but not limited to, lease administration, working with database management, accounts receivable and audit services. Ensures that all services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and contractual obligations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process lease requests, review and/or edit lease documents for accuracy and edit narrative and computer-generated documents
• Assist with administration of all Medical Office Building (MOB) leases
• Fully abstract leases
• Preparation of tenant lease trackers
• Generate monthly financial and expiration reports
• Prepares, approves, and executes auto-renewal process
• Processes requests for Intercompany Leases (new and renewal)
• Participate in corporate services meetings
• Manage client physical and database lease files to ensure that the lease files contain accurate, up-to-date records and are of institutional equivalent quality
• Participate in team meetings and assist in the preparation of individual annual goals
• General Office and Accounting Duties - office invoicing and input into system
• Other duties as assigned or needed to assist in leasing department

EDUCATION
High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree or equivalent to a 4-year college program a plus

EXPERIENCE
3+ years commercial real estate experience (Property Management or Real Estate Accounting preferred) or any similar combination of education and experience

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of the lease administration process Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel, and previous use of a database system; ability to learn new specialty lease administration software. Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel (10%). Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service. Strong analytical skills, logic and experience with lease language interpretation.
