PenFed is hiring a Mortgage Learning Partner. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate engaging, soft skill and technical learning experiences. This individual will guide the learner using engaging and effective adult learning principles. Learning sessions will be facilitated virtually and in person. In addition to facilitation, this individual will contribute to the design and curation of learning content.
Responsibilities

- Deliver high quality learning experiences, virtually and in person.
- Facilitate learning for new-hire and existing employee populations.
- Establish clear expectations for learners in each learning session and foster an environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Partner closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Consult with business leaders on learning needs and expectations.
- Design and curate learning content.
- Identify success metrics and conduct pre- and post- training evaluations to test and monitor progress in learning.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of learning programs and/or learner performance to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
- Work with Learning and Development leadership to align learning goals with overall corporate and departmental objectives.
- Maintain vendor relationships for line of business learning programs.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of operating policies and procedures, and PenFed's products and services.
- Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to lead projects from start to finish with minimal direct.
- Manage general classroom responsibilities (supplies, setup, materials).
- Articulate, draft and compose accurate and detailed business requirements based upon future state analysis and design.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Business Administration, Human Resources) or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
- Minimum of two (2) years related work experience in training required.
- Experience within Mortgage industry and strong customer service background preferred.
- Experience with Mortgage Origination and Servicing Systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows-based software packages including MS-Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
- Web-based authoring or design skills/coursework is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills is required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will not supervise employees.
Licenses and Certifications
There are no additional certifications required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*
Travel
Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
