The Regional Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of multi-family properties in the Dallas, Texas area. They will be responsible for the efficient, professional, and effective operations that include personnel, revenue management, budgeting, reforecasting, and resident relations. The goal of this position is to drive value through effective leadership, financial insight, and innovative business strategies. The Regional Property Manager will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Residential Management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to the team of property managers by interviewing, hiring, and training team members, and by managing their performance in accordance with Draper and Kramer, Incorporated policies, values, and business practices
  • Manages the financial and operational performance of the assigned portfolio, identifies, and investigates indicators of performance deficiencies or opportunities, and guides the development of appropriate action plans that correct deficiencies or maximize opportunities to ensure the portfolio meets stated goals and objectives
  • Monitor property budget performance and prepare and/or review monthly variance reports and reforecasts
  • Provide support of the on-site management staff and assist property managers with Union staff supervision
  • Mentor and develop property managers and create clear and measurable goals that drive property and employee success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business, marketing, or finance
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in regional multi-family property management
  • Industry certifications (e.g. CPM, ARM, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with MS-Office (intermediate level knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, Outlook, basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Access)
  • Must have a strong understanding of financial reporting
  • Proficiency with Yardi
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional disposition while exercising judgment and discretion in work
