Remote GRC, SOX Analyst

Job description

TEKsystems is seeking a SOX Analyst for a 6 month + contract assisting our Anchorage, Alaska Based Client.

This will be a 100% remote engagement working typical Alaska business hours.

This position will be assisting the Sr. SOX analyst in risk assessments and audits.

Description:

Requirements & Experience:

-At least 2 years of experience working in GRC, IT compliance, or information risk management

-Experience and familiarity with SOX a must

-Experience with other common security and regulatory frameworks (PCI, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, SOC 2) beneficial

-Experience with performing compliance and risk assessment audits

-Strong collaboration skills, as this role will work closely with other analysts and internal groups

-Clear and concise verbal communication skills

Expected Job Duties:

-Assist in the review of SOX evidence as the "second line of defense"

-Develop reports on the status of audit evidence collection and accuracy

-Assist in the development and drafting of SOX IT General Controls

-Update security policies in accordance with recommended content and formatting changes

-Communicate potential control and/or policy changes to control owners and consult on control implementation
