Great company looking for a detail oriented Title Examiner to join a growing team. The Title Examiner will have at least 1-3 years of title examination experience, and he/she will be responsible for examining titles,- searching real estate records, and compiling a list of mortgages and other contracts pertaining to titles by searching public and private records for law firms, real estate agents, or title insurance companies.

Title Examiner Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of title examination experience.
  • Title Examiner must be experienced as a decision-maker on basic underwriting and curative questions for multiple escrow offices.
  • Proficiency in Title Plant products in Nevada-area counties.
  • PC proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.


Title Examiner Responsibilities:
  • Produce examination work, including the review of public and private records of all title documents, including deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, surveys, easements, probates, and divorces to verify legal descriptions of the property.
  • Make all basic UW decisions within established guidelines and act as liaison with various underwriting counsel
  • Verify all issues with regards to access issues and Attorney objection letters.
  • Complete out-of-county evidence orders and work with providers to achieve viable service level agreements.
  • Review terrorist watch list for Examination department and notify Examination department/ applicable Escrow Officer of any issues.
  • Assist policy department to insure company is in compliance with regulations.
