POSITION SNAPSHOT:
The Senior Director of Experience Innovation will be accountable for the strategic direction and execution of the brand's guest experience innovation agenda. This role will identify, lead and manage innovative ideation grounded on approaches to generating positive business outcomes for the brand - no idea is 'off the table'. In addition, own the Guest Experience Lab environment for appropriate 'go to market' execution. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary thought leadership, consultative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to design and deploy each initiative with the right people processes, creative and enabling technologies. The leader will ensure that every initiate aligns itself to key objectives, prioritized appropriately, executed and measured for outcomes.

You can identify entertainment experience elevation opportunities, design effective 'go to market' strategies, measure and analyze insights, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Have an ability to prioritize ideation backlog based on business outcome potential and ease of implementation.
Scale 'lab' defined initiatives to the rest of the store fleet.
Experience working within ideation to incubation funnel and agile methodologies for execution.

Day in the life…
Based out of our flagship Dallas store, oversee the day-to-day activities of the Guest Experience Lab in a real store environment while leading a dedicated lab team
Facilitate ideation brainstorming for funnel consideration and prioritization - build the 'opportunity cases'.
Work in collaboration with the Dallas store leadership team on concept execution
Define the strategic roadmap, opportunity sequence and associated budget
Work closely with outside partners on all aspects of the product lifecycle inclusive of R&D & Support
Act as a leader within Dave & Buster's environment
Work to gain Guest and Team member feedback on all things related to 'go to market' initiatives

SCOPE:
Define and drive Guest Experience Lab vision and guiding principles for the brand
Develop guest and team member journey maps for current end to end experiences and 'to be'
Spend quality time understanding the entertainment innovation market and it's potential opportunities for disruption
Lead the ideation and design of innovative experience and products that deliver and exceed guest expectations

Experience building and presenting business cases for strategic investments, and evaluating competing business cases to determine where to invest limited resources
Test & measurement experience
Have a clear process from the ideation funnel to store scale
Identify new team member processes and technology opportunities that enable successful outcomes
Oversee the execution of initiatives with agile methodologies
Manage operating costs associated with every idea - understand the P&L impact & forecasted outcomes
Define team roles, hire and oversee dedicated team.
Has authority to modify processes, interpret policies or recommend programs that will directly impact the products under scope.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS
MBA degree preferred.
Experience working for Strategy consulting firm
Experience with:
Design thinking product development methodologies
Hiring and overseeing ideation teams
Proficient in business case development and ability to 'sell' the idea
Managing multi-million dollar budgets
Creative execution
Technology execution
Agile methodology concepts
Experience defining & managing product budgets
Exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to manage large & small initiatives
Must be detailed oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure.
Demonstrate accountability, prioritize tasks, and consistently in delivery
Show a desire to learn and dedicated to professional development
