Why This Job Exists: Job Summary/Scope of Impact
This position will be a part of Treasury Operations group under TICF Finance Organization and will make significant impact by performing the following in the upcoming years:
- Responsible for banking activity, cash management, transaction processing, debt settlement confirmations, bank file communications and interfaces, bank account reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain customers payment & receivable channels (i.e. Web-Pay solutions, PayConnexion, Wholesale Lockbox, etc.) including performance review of existing and future customer payment channels.
- Responsible for debt & derivative maintenance including cash settlements, rate resets, accruals, mark-to-market valuation, etc.
- Maintain TICF & TIGCF's Treasury Management Systems and bank connectivity solutions. Coordinate modifications to Treasury Management Systems for TIGCF's North American subsidiaries.
What You'll Do: Major Accountabilities
60%: Treasury & Cash Management
- Responsible for daily cash positioning, forecast, transaction processing, bank file interface, reconciliation, and reporting activities within TMS for TICF, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain external debt, derivative and inter-company loan instruments from end-to-end including cash settlements, input instrument into TMS, rate resets and internal & external reporting.
- Interact with internal customers as needed, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues to facilitate all aspects of transaction processing.
- Complete month end process for debt, derivatives and inter-company loans such as mark-to-market, system variance analysis, and accrual postings. Closely interact with accounting to ensure journal entries posting between systems and meet reporting requirements.
- Responsible for leading G-Treasury TMS administration, maintenance, enhancement, custom reporting request and increasing the utility of the system locally and regionally.
- Liaison with internal & external audits by compiling and responding to treasury related requests and inquiries.
- Work with Treasury Risk, Accounting & Banking partners to complete Debt compliance reporting process and tracking.
- Serve as primary bank portal admin by assisting user setup, password resets, etc.
- Create securitization report on the performance of pledged assets.
- Responsible for documenting and up-keep of desk guides, Treasury policies and procedures.
- Drive process improvement opportunities for TICF and all affiliates.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the business.
40%: General Corporate Projects & Cash Management
- Act as the primary bank point of contact with respect to transaction processing, cash management products and services.
- Analyze new banking products and services for usage opportunities within TICF Treasury, for other TICF's departments, subsidiaries and affiliates and make recommendations to management.
- Manage bank accounts and related services to meet business needs, including opening and closing bank accounts, adding or removing features/services, updating account documentation, and coordinating with financial institutions, Legal, and senior management of TICF, TIGCF and its affiliates to obtain appropriate approvals.
- Participate with external organizations such as financial institutions or vendors, to evaluate and implement products on behalf of Treasury and the business.
Who You Are: Experience, Training & Education
Technical Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of Treasury Management systems and bank portals (I.e. CashPro, JPMorgan Access, SAP, GTreasury, Sungard, etc.)
- Some experience in the use of accounting general ledger systems, treasury analytics and reporting software.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or similar Market Data service providers.
- Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Notes, Lync, Visio, etc.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Treasury, Finance, Cash Management or Accounting, at a corporate or financial institution.
- Understanding of Cash Management operations including cash flow forecasting, cash pooling, cash positioning, transaction management and reconciliation.
- Experience in establishing effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Be able to multitask in a fast-paced growth environment and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid experience with Treasury workstations and/or systems projects is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
- Post Graduate Degree (MBA, MS Finance or Economics, etc.) or equivalent a plus.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent a plus.
