  • Corporate maturity is also a big thing they look for- many of the recent graduates are not professional enough in this environment so not to rule them out but we want to make sure we are screening for that as well
  • Energetic, shows a curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and succeeding
  • Aptitude to grow within company/ driven personality
  • Ability to think on feet/ problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)- able to articulate clearly and effectively with clients and educate them on various items
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without getting flustered- this is REALLY important
  • Also being able to prioritize many demands coming at them each day
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail is very important to the success of this role
  • Technical savviness and being able to learn new systems quickly in this virtual environment- they will be learning upwards of 10 different internal systems and will be utilizing 3-4 at a time for some clients depending on what is needing to be done during a client call or case in their queue.
  • Agility/flexibility in an ever-changing environment
  • Prior experience working and excelling within a client-facing role (retail, account management, client service, industry experience such as working at the company prior or another competitor, etc.)

  • HR, payroll, or benefits experience in any capacity

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consultants will be taking inbound client calls to support technology products (Payroll, HR, Benefits)
  • Upon conversion, consultants will be assigned a book of business to support specific clients
  • Interact with external clients via telephone and email communication to best advise on their company's payroll needs
  • Build relationships with set clients and get to know their business on a deeper level/ take a consultative approach
  • Act as a business partner and consultant to solve client issues or concerns and take a proactive approach to potential future needs
  • Consultants will be fully trained on the payroll process and all product offerings within this space prior to conversion
