Irsaneous Interiors is currently seeking to fill a position at our new office in Fort Worth. We are looking for a positive, upbeat and hardworking candidate who has a love for interior design and is ready to hit the ground running. We are a team of 6 design driven women and are ready to add our next mate!

Position: Assistant Buyer

The Assistant Buyer will report directly in to the Senior Buyer, assisting both the Senior Buyer and Project Managers on a day-to-day tasks.

General Description:

- Assist in all facets of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) sourcing, procurement and logistics

- Reach out to vendors regarding samples

- Follow up with orders, FF&E delays and deliveries

- Liaison with the PD & PM to navigate tasks in order of importance

-Provide operational support to buyers

- Maintain constant communication of project load with PD

-Independently builds vendor relationships. Establishes a positive relationship in order to effectively influence vendors. This includes heavy interaction with vendors to solve problems and follow-up

-Schedule meetings and maintain office calendar

- Process returns on occasion post install

- Assist in installations as needed

Requirements:

- Must have some Excel and PowerPoint experience

-Strong interest in merchandising, interior design or decorating preferably

- Works well under deadlines and has great communication & organization skills

- Quick study, task and goal oriented

- Able to multi-task and prioritize

- Trustworthy and works well with a team

- Preferred if candidate has a laptop but not required

- Willing to travel if necessary

- Must have own transportation

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)
