Job description

We are a small to medium sized General Contractor company in South Fort Worth. We operate in a fast paced environment and are looking for someone who is self-motivated and organized.

This career opportunity is full time between the hours of 8am-5pm. This is not a remote position.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of construction process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, Quickbooks Enterprise accounting software, and Google Workspace.
  • Effective communication and comprehension skills in English, including speaking and writing.
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail orientation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Able to independently prioritize tasks, understanding the urgency and importance of certain tasks over others. The ability to meet strict deadlines and seek assistance when needed.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Aptitude for financial data, able to input data accurately, review and identify errors.
  • Able to identify problems when they occur, seek resolution and follow through until it is resolved.
  • Able to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.

Tasks include the following

  • Facilitate administrative operations. Create and maintain internal and electronic filing systems.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Process and create a workplace initiatives and requirements, ensuring proper efficiencies applied to all Construction and Project Related Task.
  • General Office Duties: answering phones, filing, copying, scanning mail, email correspondence, ordering supplies, updating/maintaining Basecom's social media platforms.
  • Daily follow up with vendors and subcontractors via phone calls and email as well as maintain records.
  • Log/Distribute/Assure invoices are approved for proper entry in Foundation.
  • Prepare new hire packets, review all completed new hire docs, maintain current employees file, interaction with our Professional Employer Organization.
  • Maintain manual and electronic project files and lists.
  • Weekly input of employee's time to assist with payroll. Receive and distribute checks.
  • Directly interact with Project Managers/Superintendents regarding required project documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
