Position Description:

Coltala Holdings is currently seeking to hire an Analyst with 2-6 years of relevant experience. This position represents a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to assume a wide set of responsibilities and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Analyst will be expected to build and maintain financial models, conduct in depth market and industry research and actively participate in sourcing and evaluating new opportunities. The Analyst will have the opportunity to develop valuable deal-making experience in a position that offers a unique level of responsibility and autonomy. This position will be responsible for managing the origination and valuation of potential investment opportunities. This includes identifying target markets and investment opportunities, establishing/building relationships with potential sellers and working with the investment committee team to evaluate and structure investments. The position will be based out of Fort Worth, Texas.


Specific Job Functions:

  • Assist in conducting due diligence on potential opportunities
  • Work with the investment committee to evaluate and structure investments
  • Analyze and build investment strategies
  • Develop detailed flexible financial models including financial forecasting analyses
  • Create investment committee memoranda to summarize analytic findings on transactions
  • Develop, conduct and coordinate financial analyses, reports and presentations to facilitate making integral business decisions, including acquisitions and capital raising
  • Participate in deal negotiation and documentation
  • Conduct financial and business (e.g. industry analysis, competitive position, growth prospects) diligence and evaluate new developments and acquisitions
  • Participate in operational aspects of the business such as strategic planning
  • Stay current on financial markets and competitive trends and use this expertise in the due diligence and evaluation process
  • Maintain certain performance tracking metrics


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (GPA of 3.3+)
  • 2-6 years of experience (e.g., Consulting, Investment Banking, Valuation, Finance)
  • Strong Excel abilities, including advanced functions (VBA / macros a plus)
  • Experience with cash flow modeling and investment valuation techniques
  • Strong PowerPoint proficiency and experience working on client deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and seek out additional responsibility
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Exceptional modeling and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative, organizational and communications skills
