Jewel Charity Ball Coordinator

Job description

The Jewel Charity Ball Coordinator is responsible for coordinating volunteer committees for the annual golf tournament, membership event, Men#s and Ladies events as well as managing the database and finances for these Jewel Charity Ball (JCB) events.# Will also support the JCB members in their endeavors to raise funds for Cook Children#s Medical Center. The JCB Coordinator is charged with greeting visitors and answering telephones in a professional manner. Maintain confidentiality of all information handled through the Jewel Charity office, as well as other office/department within the Medical Center. Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in use of personal computer, multi-task with skillfulness and efficiency, prepare mass mailings to prospects, members and donors, and coordinate work plan for all Jewel Charity publications. Represent self, Jewel Charity and the Medical Center in a positive image. Be courteous and pleasant to community, staff and coworkers at all times (on the phone, in person and through e-mail). Qualifications: High School Diploma required, Bachelor#s degree preferred. Five years relevant experience. Excellent organizational skills, excellent written and oral/telephone communication skills. Desire and ability to work well with staff and volunteers. Ability to meet overlapping/multiple deadlines. Strong computer skills. Knowledge of community.
