Why This Job Exists: Job Summary/Scope of Impact
You will provide administrative and analytical Support for Toyota Industries Commercial Finance Retail Credit Decisioning Operations. This position provides a career path to advancement within Operations - Credit, Funding, Sales, Account Services.
What You'll Do: Major Accountabilities
Administrative Support for Retail Credit Decisioning Operations
- Identify and research system and customer information to accurately identify customer profile and existing accounts and prepare requests for Credit decisioning.
- Accurately enter asset and customer data from credit requests.
- Facilitate timely processing of credit applications while achieving scorecard objective for credit decision turn-around time.
- Obtain current copy of the company's Experian Business Credit report and/or Paynet Report.
- Obtain copy of the Secretary of State for the state where the business entity was formed.
- Process due diligence requirements in compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
- Obtain the balances due on any existing TICF accounts.
- Notify Update outstanding approval (s) if the company has other pending credit approval(s) with TICF.
- Accurately enter data, complete and document the Credit Risk Scorecard to generate risk level.
- Alert Credit Analyst where there are opportunities to expedite decisioning based on Credit Risk Scorecard risk score.
- Process customer data updates.
- Collaborate with Credit Analysts to ensure efficient and accurate credit decisioning.
- Collaborate with Funding staff to resolve discrepancies and assist in timely funding of contracts.
Analytical Support for Retail Credit Decisioning Operations
- Maintain integrity and control of commercial retail and lease credit requests and Credit Risk Scorecard processing while ensuring the terms and deal structures meet legal and business requirements.
- Facilitate timely credit decision processes while achieving department and individual scorecard objectives.
- Serve as a primary liaison between TICF and dealerships across United States in order to coordinate accurate completion of credit requests.
- Accurately enter application data and customer specific requirements into Credit Decisioning System for proper account maintenance.
- Identify discrepancies and credit risks within deal parameters in the structure of deals at inception and recommend constructive solutions in order to alleviate these discrepancies to arise in the future.
- Assist in developing step-by-step desk procedures for all critical functions in order to standardize credit decisioning processes and minimize errors.
Project Management and Others
- Assist with identifying and implementing Kaizen initiatives to optimize retail credit processes in order to enhance efficiencies while understanding end to end contract life cycle processing and administration.

- As an offset to work experience, may consider entry level position with business degree.
Preferred experience:
- Recent related work history with a Captive Finance Company
- 2 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably having experience in retail and lease credit origination and funding procedures, systems, and processes.
- Experience in Automotive Lending, Commercial Truck, or Commercial Equipment financing.
- Prior experience in SAP Leasing system is a plus.
Preferred education:
- Strongly preferred is a B.A./B.S. Degree in a business-related field but will consider other majors with business coursework.
