Position: Marketing Database Analyst

Location: Hybrid

Status: Freelance

Estimated Duration: 12 months, 40 hours/week

Starts: December 2021

Rate: Around $40 per hour DOE

Job Description:

Our global device technology client in Plano is looking for a FREELANCE Marketing Database Analyst to start next month, 40 hours per week for at least 12 months.

This position is remote and will require attendance in-office once COVID restrictions are lifted.

The Marketing Database Analyst makes data relevant to the executive team and business leads on current and historical performance to quickly and accurately show how their businesses are performing.

The successful Analyst effectively translates data for non-data-driven stakeholders so they can act on the information.

Marketing Database Analyst Responsibilities

• Analyze large marketing data sets from different sources

• Measure marketing tactics such as CRM, site usability/effectiveness & monetization of media campaigns

• Develop & publish reports, dashboards and more

• Maintain reporting databases

• Highlight key learnings; present actionable insights and recommendations

• Provide lead gen forecasts & database segmentation

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in dataset

• Use SQL to acquire and transform data

Marketing Database Analyst Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required

• 6+ years as Data Analyst

• 2+ years Salesforce and/or Eloqua

• 3+ years web metrics and/or analytics

• Basic statistical analysis (descriptive, variance, regression, probability, etc.)

• Hands-on Adobe Analytics / Omniture / SiteCatalyst

• Corporate-level CRM and database management

• Highly proficient in PowerPoint designing analytics-based presentations and visualizations

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar preferred

• Overtime required for some periods (i.e forecast, closing)
