Description

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of common security concepts, be able to think on their feet and not be afraid of making decisions and taking responsibility. The candidate should be eager to question established processes and decisions, and dig deep to find the true answer. They know that by responding quickly and decisively, they are safeguarding Santander’s customers. Candidates should also embrace learning, be willing to talk to other staff and get an excellent model of Santander’s systems, processes and policies.

Responsibilities:

Act as primary point of contact during assigned incidents

Support multi-level responses to contain, remediate and eradicate threats

Analyze cyber incident activity and identifies trends

Guide after action report (ARRs) creation and ensure the business understand the risks and threats post incident.

Collect and analyze event information and perform threat or target analysis duties. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with cyber security related directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years hands of experience in the field of intrusion monitoring, incident response and mitigation, web application security, threat research or intelligence analysis

• Demonstrable experience in the area of malware analysis, threat intelligence, vulnerability management and/or security assurance.

• Demonstrable experience in information sharing platforms like memberships to trust groups for intelligence sharing (FS-ISAC).

• Active SANS certification in the areas of network, incident handling, malware and forensic analysis (GREM, GCIA, GCFA, GCIH) preferred

• Candidates must be willing to work in an on-call situation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

  • Proficiency with Spanish highly desired
