WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Align with hiring managers as a value-added business partner to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations.
- Educate stakeholders on the recruiting process and set expectations of how businesses/hiring teams need to participate as well as best practices
- Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role.
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Monitor vacancies, pipeline, allocation, time to fill, diversity and quality hire.
- Ensure we are consistent across the org with streamlining recruiting process from initial interview to offer.
- Utilize market data and trends to guide the business with opportunities that could address their needs faster.
- Lead special projects/recruiting initiatives as needed.
WHAT A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE LOOKS LIKE:
- You are resilient, have grit and get things done. We appreciate people who don't overcomplicate things, have a bias for action, can think strategically but know how tactics will land operationally.
- It's in your DNA to work hard, to be detailed, to think two steps ahead and to be aware of any pro's and con's of decisions you make downstream.
- You've worked in a fast paced, tech environment, understand urgency and thrive in ambiguity.
- 5+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
- 5+ years experience managing and prioritizing projects and client relationships
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
- Experience closing candidates and negotiating offers
- Bachelors degree preferred
