We're opening doors to promising roles and career paths for candidates in many geographical markets across the United States with numerous behavioral healthcare organizations.

A growing treatment center providing medically assisted treatment (MAT) in conjunction with intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services is seeking a behavioral healthcare professional versed in admissions and business development to join their team. The organization serves clients with private (insurance) resources, as well as active duty military.


Job Description
Candidates will have:

  • Experience in leading phone calls for potential admissions that involves developing rapport, exhibiting active listening skills, and moving the conversation forward in an empathetic manner that results in an admission to treatment.
  • Experience in an outside sales/business development position in the behavioral healthcare industry.
  • Versatility to cold call into new relationships as well as maintain and cultivate existing relationships.
  • Familiarity with establishing relationships and be comfortable speaking with VA and private hospitals, medical doctors, psychiatrists, interventionists, Employee Assistance Programs, other treatment centers and therapists in a clinical sales process.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities while developing, planning, implementing and following through with action plans to grow admissions and the overall brand of the treatment center.
  • Flexibility in their ability to adapt the territory plan to fit the needs of the geographic market and overall landscape of the behavioral healthcare industry.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism in a manner that reflects a positive image for the treatment center, as well as the individual candidate, by exhibiting ethics, attention to detail, availability, dependability and a heart of service for those in need of recovery from addiction and mental health disorders.

Qualifications/Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of business development experience in the behavioral healthcare industry in a business development role that includes leading admissions phone calls.
  • Understanding of addiction, recovery, mental health disorders and issues impacting behavioral healthcare industry.
