As experts in the design, budgeting, and execution of a home's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, we collaborate with architects, designers, and builders to create an accurate project definition during design development and help homeowners make decisions before construction begins.


We are currently seeking a Full-Time technical building systems designer responsible for collaborating with other experts, making recommendations for building systems, and for producing design documentation for high-end luxury residential projects.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare thorough drawing sets of floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Coordinate drawings and provide quality design work to established specifications.
  • Maintain as-built documentation and maintain a log of revised sets with revision notes, dates, and details of changes.
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, builders, MEP partners, and vendors in determining the correct details for each project.
  • Proactively communicate product or schedule concerns with others.
  • Create and maintain a product database.
  • Create accurate sales orders using product database.
  • Participate in project status meetings to stay updated on project schedules and deadlines.
  • Document processes and procedures as it relates to department documentation to build a drawing standard for current and future employees in the department.
  • Create and maintain drafting standards as far as layers, legends, title blocks, fonts, sizes, colors, issue sets, etc.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design or similar discipline
  • 2+ years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, especially Google Sheets.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to visualize and understand architectural and interior design intent.
  • Experience with architectural, interior design, and electrical design disciplines .
  • Ability to perform work manage multiple projects accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to pay attention to the small details of a project or task.
