Job description
This position is responsible for the design and execution of sales strategies, policies and programs for the Business Development Reps for the South Texas region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Proficiency at Leading team of inside Business Development Reps (BDR). Directly responsible for leadership and supervision of the local inside BDR team.
* Responsible for scaling up newly created BDR group. Increase capabilities of group through training, coaching, goal setting and product understanding.
* Planning and delivering CRM strategies in BDR group. Monitoring relationships with customers through CRM systems.
* Ensuring the CRM system provides an effective sales funnel. Create opportunities and new contact and communication strategies.
* Track customer reports on pipeline, open quotes, new opportunities, recent activities, lost sales.
* Build strong and positive relationships with existing, new and future customers.
* Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the BDR sales team.
* Provide high standards of ongoing value based selling skills training and product training for the sales team.
* Participate in the recruiting process to hire and train BDRs: Develop, coach and motivate the sales team to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and monthly sales and growth targets are met.
* Excellent time management, organization and planning skills are essential to be successful in this role. All candidates must be self-starters with proven ability to handle multiple priorities
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent relevant work experience
* 5+ years leading an inside sales team
* Experience leading a team utilizing CRM software (Sales Force).
* Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high performance sales teams
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
