Job DescriptionThe Capital Formation Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of fundraising, due diligence, business development, and reporting to both existing and prospective limited partner relationships.ResponsibilitiesSupport senior members of the Capital Formation team across all capital raising initiatives with both current and prospective limited partners.Provide priority assistance during all active due diligence requests ranging from ad hoc requests to initiative-specific DDQs to ensure exceptional and timely delivery.Participate in creation and maintenance of comprehensive marketing presentations and fundraising documents, including maintenance of proper compliance approvals and documentations globally.Oversee team's tracking of investor touch points, internal update reports as well as maintenance and organization of the firm's internal CRM system including logging all investor calls, meetings and relevant investor updates and ensuring that all updates and follow-ups are properly tracked.Maintain due diligence library and marketing collateral archive to capture historical touch points and to ensure up-to-date material distribution as well as proper support documentation.Contribute in research and analytics by creating and maintaining comparison summaries for competitive market terms, completing real-time market observations and intelligence gathering, and regulatory trend monitoring.Grow institutional knowledge through attendance in annual investor meetings and global industry conferences.Required QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent.1 year of investment/financial services experience, and/or education.1 years successfully leading large and complex projects in a professional or educational environment.Demonstrated success in influencing senior leaders across a complex matrix internal environment as well as with third parties.Strong academic record at a strong undergraduate institution.High level of experience in Microsoft Suite, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Integrity and hard work ethic.Demonstrates a high level of intuitive and strong work ethic, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Employ outstanding analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to function efficiently and problem-solve in a time-critical environment.Ability to work and communicate effectively with both in office and remotely based team membersDesire to be part of a dynamic team where all members support one another and contribute to successPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of financial return metrics (IRR, ROE) and valuation techniques (cap rate analysis, DCF).Foundational knowledge of real estate fundamentals, industry and market trends, and regulatory requirementsSome experience in commercial real estate investment, services or development.Series 7 preferred.Preqin, CRM, CoStar, PERE and/or Salesforce experience a plusPrivate Real Estate Underwriting (BIWS/WallStreet Oasis/Adventures in Real Estate)About Our CompanyLionstone Investments, a subsidiary of Ameriprise Financial, is a pioneering real estate investment firm that conceptualizes, analyzes, and executes national real estate investment strategies.
