Job description

Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of inventory counts, inventory code dates and expirations, and the rotation of product in storage. Inventory clerks are assigned specific areas of responsibility by the Operations Super and is responsible for assuring the proper product is accurate in all pick slots.
$17.50 hr/hr
$1500 Sign on Bonus
This is a 1st shift position. Days are Saturday - Wednesday. Hours are 9am - 6pm with overtime as needed.
Major Responsibilities:
• Maintains inventory records, assuring pallets and cases are correct
• Accurately match numbers & letters, assuring appropriate number of cases on a pallet and in a pick location or stock location
• Check stock items for expiration dates and ensure proper roattion is maintained within the racks. Create reports for product nearing expiration dates
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system to identify blind loads, create cross dock loads, logging product locations
•Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
• 1 year warehousing or material-handling equipment experience required
• Prior inventory or receiving experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Prior use of warehouse management system and scanners preferred

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
