Job Summary
Battery Storage Construction Project Manager for Broad Reach Power play a significant role in driving the overall project success by interfacing with the various project stakeholders and providing a guiding onsite presence and leadership for Broad Reach Power, the asset owner, during the construction and commissioning phases of development.
This position will be onsite at multiple sites across Texas
Job Responsibilities
- Onsite management of construction activities of all contractors and vendors at assigned site/s
- Oversee and collaborate with contractors to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the design, specifications, permit requirements, budget, safety, and schedule.
- Lead weekly progress meetings, create, and distribute reports to EPC Program Manager
- Ensure company environmental policies, safety standards, and federal/local regulations are followed by all construction and commissioning personnel
- Participate in daily/weekly Safety meetings and any incident investigations as required
- Coordinate the timely completion of project documentation. Including schedule updates, weekly reports, incident reports, commissioning progress and close-out processes
- Review contractors' request for changes and make recommendations to the EPC Program Manager regarding necessity, effect, cost, and schedule implications
- Track and record field changes and plan deviations approved by engineering. Oversee update and tracking of red line drawings for project records.
- Perform regular site inspections in a timely and efficient manner to avoid any delays to the construction and commissioning progress
- Accept delivery and inspect equipment to ensure that they meet engineering specifications
- Address any construction non-conformance issues
- Manage deliverables with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Ensure all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures are followed.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, certification, or training
- 4-6 years of experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction or Engineering (Electrical preferred) or renewable projects
Additional Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel or temporarily relocate to an assigned project area as required
- Completion of a technical / trades certification
- Knowledge and understanding of construction practices
- Experience in reading and understanding various engineering/design drawings to assess construction requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills including ability to generate progress reports using Microsoft suite of tools (Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.)
- Relevant leadership and problem-solving skills
- Manage both internal and external stakeholder expectations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and challenges
- Be an action-oriented, self-motivator individual who can work independently, and has strong organizational and personal skills
- Familiarity with operator qualification requirements as they pertain to heavy industrial or renewable construction projects.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
