Cyclonaire is currently looking for a Field Service Automation Specialist to join our team.

The Field Service Automation Specialist will be a resource for high level automation issues and will use their knowledge base to implement code and provide on-site services such as maintenance and repair to our customers. This individual will work closely with our in-house automation designers and programmers as well as our field service technicians in order to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain a broad range of equipment associated with pneumatic conveying systems. High importance will be placed on
instrumentation knowledge and the ability to use a hands-on approach to solve instrumentation and mechanical issues as they arise. This position will require extensive travel in order to provide programming, coding, instrumentation, maintenance and repair services at customer sites both nationally and internationally as needed.

Practical experience with electromechanical process control components, instrumentation selection, facility and localized electrical power distribution, network integration, machine control philosophy and strong knowledge of PLC and HMI software is required. This position's responsibilities align with the two internal disciplines of Electrical Panel Design/Instrumentation and Software Development and will be required to maintain a working knowledge of Cyclonaire's comprehensive automation design principles.

Associate's degree in an applicable technical field and 5-7 years related experience is required. Equivalent combinations of education and practical experience will be considered.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have exposure to Rockwell software; RSLogix 500, 5000, Factory Talk View ME, SE Development software; HTML; Microsoft Office Suite; My SQL, Access, Solidworks Electrical (or equivalent), AutoCAD, and/or other applicable software programs. Previous Electrical Design or Systems Controls Design is preferred.

Language abilities is a plus. Candidate must have practical familiarity with industrial controls and system design, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and various other field instrumentation devices. Candidate must demonstrate interpersonal communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.

Must be able to travel 90% of the time in the U.S. and abroad.
