Job Description: Primary Focus: The FP&A Manager reports to the Vice President of Finance - Catalysts global business unit (GBU), providing financial planning and analytical support to Performance Catalysts Solutions (PCS) division within the Catalysts GBU. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Compilation and analysis of annual operating plans, monthly forecasts, and monthly business performance for PCS. Drive efficiencies in management reporting processes that minimize time business leaders and finance staff spend pulling information together. Prepare in-depth financial and business analysis, including product profitability, expense management, capital projects, and working capital. Prepare financial modeling related to growth, productivity and other strategic initiatives. Synthesize information from multiple sources to generate strategic insights, identify trends, and spot opportunities and risks to the business. Provide accurate, timely recommendations to management for decision making purposes: Ideal candidate will possess: At least5 years of progressive experience across multiple finance, accounting and/or business roles. Strong leadership abilities. Track record of success managing multiple critical projects simultaneously and meeting/exceeding expectations of working in a fast-paced environment. Intellectual curiosity. Highest standards of accuracy, precision, organization and attention to detail. Business and industry level strategic thinking capabilities. Understands business dynamics and the interplay between internal and external macroeconomic and competitive forces. Advanced oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills and ability to deliver strategic messages to senior leadership. Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated. Breadth and capacity to take on other finance roles over time. Multinational experience. Self confidence to drive process improvements and other initiatives: Basic Qualifications: Intermediate to advanced financial modeling and overall Excel skills. Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field. MS degree preferred but not required. CPA or CFA certifications a plus. Six Sigma or other process training a plus.
