About the Role:As a Principal Consultant - Business Consultant - Downstream Refinery, RetailResponsibilities:Lead projects for Oil & Gas Downstream (Supply / Terminal Management / Refinery Operations / Retail Operations) Oil & Gas implementationsHave client discussions regarding implementation and impact of best practicesProvide advisory services on design, implementation and deployment of custom and be-spoke product solutions in the business areaUse the in-depth knowledge of Supply / Terminal Management / Refinery Operations / Retail Operations tools (including third party) and emerging trendsManage large projects, program and portfolio using a scaled Agile approachConduct As-Is/To-Be process workshopsWork across multiple levels and multi-cultural, remote teamsMaintain highly effective communication with client senior managementRespond to RFX from client and prospects and manage the sales processDisplay a good understanding of creating commercial construct for a new opportunityShare knowledge within and outside the PracticeBasic (Required) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.Must have rich experience (at least 6 years) of working in the Oil & Gas Downstream areas such as Supply / Terminal Management / Refinery Operations / Retail OperationsShould have experience in applying advanced data and digital technologies for improving business value of Downstream companiesMust have experience in managing distributed team in AgileShould be aware of setting up DevOps Teams and ToolsAt least 10 years of industry work experience with 4 years of experience in comparable consulting servicesAbility to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.Preferred Qualifications:At least 7 years of experience in managerial capacity in Oil & Gas Downstream business area in large enterprise environmentsShould have worked on IT projects in Below-the-Rack Supply & Distribution, Refinery Operations, Forecourt & in-store sales, Pipeline, truck, rail & barge operations orExperience in working with senior business stakeholders in designing solution optionsShould have managed at least three large engagements in the related business areaShould have worked on at least one project which had an application of Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Machine Learning, Blockchain or Predictive AnalyticsUnderstanding of and/or experience on common industry products and their implementation challenges and risksAbility to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.Ability to interact at all levels of clients' organizations.Proven track record in program/ project managementProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and to build strong relationships with clientsThis job may entail an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
