Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing a Request for Proposal to be sent to licensors for the development of a Process Design Package (PDP)

• Perform a role similar to an owner's engineer during the development of a PDP and a FEED

• Identifies advanced solutions to complex issues.

• Proactively identifies gaps in design and provides solutions.

• Reviews and provides feedback on project design documents.

• Identifies and provides solutions to conflicting requirements and approaches as needed.

• Provides recommendations to solve technical issues.

• Generates multiple alternatives before settling on a best solution.

• Develops creative solutions to complex problems.

• Collaborates with others to determine best solution internally and externally.

• Serves as representative in external organization.

• Identifies changes in scope of work during a project and communicates observations.

• Generates new ways of thinking about and solving design issues.

• Conducts checking of design on projects to ensure accuracy.

• Sets the example for exceptional performance.

• Serves as the SME to provide engineering and technical expertise for projects with emphasis in Ammonia Synthesis and hydrogen production

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering minimum required.

• 10 years minimum relevant experience in the chemical and petrochemical industries and Ammonia synthesis.

• Experience in design and operating principles of Steam Methane Reforming upstream of the Ammonia plant is a must.

• Proven track record in performing technology selection studies

• Past experience developing a Request for Proposal to be sent to licensors for the development of a Process Design Package (PDP)

• Past experience performing a role similar to an owner's engineer during the development of a PDP and a FEED

• Experience in Commissioning/operational Trouble shooting.

• Travel
