As a Property Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for providing oversight to all areas of property management from move-in to move-out.


What you'll be doing…

  • Oversee and provide guidance to our Resident Services Associates and Administrative Assistants for their assigned portfolios
  • Oversee daily property portfolio operations and tasks using various technology platforms which include the completion of (or managing the completion of) resident/owner communications, rent collection, notices to vacate, move-outs, deposit accounting, evictions, non-renewals, administrative responsibilities, and accounts payable in accordance to objectives and metrics
  • Responsible for ensuring positive resident relations during the oversight of all resident interactions using an internal case management system
  • Resolve escalated resident and property related issues as they arise and document through successful resolution in the specified property management system
  • Manage month-end audit for all units in the portfolio
  • Manage electronic record-keeping including lease files for the residents in their assigned area and document storage in the proprietary database ensuring file management quality control
  • Responsible for the completion of monthly lease renewals and/or changes to lease terms for the established portfolio in compliance with local and state regulations
  • Provide feedback to the internal product departments to recommend workflow changes, technology enhancements, and vendor platforms. Act as the primary tester for new releases to internal platforms


Extra points if you have obtained these preferred qualifications…

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • 1+ years Yardi experience
