Job description

Position Summary

The Real Estate Analyst position is an individual contributor that works under limited supervision. The real estate analyst applies subject matter knowledge and understands specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. This position provides support in managing the organization's real estate portfolio including buildings, equipment and facilities. The Real Estate Analyst may assist in arranging for the purchase or construction of facilities and/or negotiating the leases of facilities and provides analysis and input to senior management for the purposes of forming the strategic direction of real estate actions.

Key Accountabilities

* Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of company processes, policies and systems to perform some or all the following activities: invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, time entry, DOT logs, purchasing, receiving goods, answering phones, travel arrangements and expense reconciliation, pre-employment processing, maintaining local files, disbursing uniforms, updating equipment utilization logs, creating fuel reports, etc.
* Provides financial analysis in support to the financing, acquisition, marketing and leasing of a certain property
* Manages communication of material project information
* Tracks risks, issues, critical decisions and action items to ensure consistent project administration
* Coordinates lease and mortgage contracts
* Assists Managers, Supervisors and employees as required to facilitate the efficient operation of the assigned location / department.
* Provides task leadership and system knowledge to less experienced Administrative Assistant employees.
* Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the immediate supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Must have prior knowledge of general administrative practices pertaining to initial assignment, IE: employment; accounts payable, accounts receivable; payroll/timekeeping, purchasing, etc.
* Demonstrated analytic skills
* Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite software.
* Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
* Strong organizational and prioritizing skills to efficiently handle a variety of daily tasks while maintaining flexibility to meet shifting priorities.
* Perform day to day tasks, and assist others, with minimal supervision.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills - written and verbal
* Good problem assessment and problem-solving skills
* Teamwork and Customer Orientation

Minimum Required Education

* Bachelor's Degree - Required

Minimum Required Work Experience

* Minimum of 5 years - Required
