Overview of the Senior General Accountant role:

• Ensure accurate accounting records and reports of all business activities properly maintained


• Provide monthly and annual financial closure and reporting on the entities activities


• Coordinate all treasury actions and cash management for the company


• Maintain a strong control environment around the accounting activities of the entities


• Application of GAAP and IFRS to accounting records and reports for all business activities


• Accurate and timely financial reports to the international office and US holdings


• Compliance with internal and external audit requirements


• Process accruals, daily payments, approvals for disbursement


• Completion of month end close


• Consolidations

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior General Accountant:

• Accounting or Finance Degree


• CPA Preferred


• International Accounting experience is a plus


• 3+ years of experience in General Accounting, preferably in SOX Controls environment


• Experience managing financial activities in an international context


• Solid MS Excel - Pivot Tables and Vlookups


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work independently


• Strong attention to detail and organized
