Description Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are in search of a highly motivated, experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a vital role in attracting the best talent to PBK. This position will work closely with the HR team and key stakeholders to define, develop and execute PBKs talent acquisition strategy. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the industry at-large. This position is geared towards a highly personable, client focused professional with demonstrated subject matter expertise in the hiring process, who can provide coaching and guidance on staffing-related items in addition to full cycle recruiting for the opportunities they directly own. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.
This integral member of the HR team will be based in PBKs Corporate office in Houston.
Responsibilities will include:
* Partner with hiring managers to understand talent requirements as well as formulating and delivering appropriate sourcing search strategies to attract top talent to PBK.
* Proactively source candidates through networking with employees, professional organizations, social media (for example LinkedIn), and other channels.
* Leverage your growing relationships with talent pools and your understanding of talent markets to qualify and develop talent pools to address immediate and near-term talent needs.
* Continuously build talent pipelines to meet current and future needs.
* Act as trusted advisor to Senior leadership by providing strategic direction and consultation to acquire the necessary talent.
* Ensure best in class candidate experience.
* Support the interview and selection process, including partnering with local HR representatives in various offices.
* Assist with maintaining our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordination within the HR team during the onboarding process.
* Implement and reinforce all branding and talent brand messaging to attract top talent.
* Develop innovative and effective candidate engagement strategies to build networks of engaged candidates via active sourcing and employer branding activities externally and internally.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
* Attend and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
* Support broader HR initiatives as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have:
* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field required.
* 5+ years of experience in a full cycle recruiting. Experience in the architecture/design or professional services industries is a highly preferred.
* Demonstrate strong consulting skills as acquired through previous experience working in a client facing role.
* Ability to quickly establish and build effective working relationships.
* Experience sourcing candidates and using your network of contacts in the industry.
* Excellent organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders.
* Proven ability to handle confidential information, personal integrity, excellent judgement and high ethical standards.
* Demonstrated personal responsibility and process ownership that drives high-quality results.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with a bias to simplify complicated processes and a drive to bring items to an impactful resolution.
* Independent project management skills, flexibility, and organization; excellent time management skills.
