React Full Stack Developer Mid

Full Stack Developer

You are responsible for exploring cutting-edge technologies and prototyping highly efficient software/hardware solutions that aim at reducing customer friction and management cost, enabling innovative user experiences, and increasing revenue. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment which needs the mindset of a startup: we are constantly iterating, testing, and learning. The position is located in Irving, TX (part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex).

Your primary focus will be on designing and developing client applications for React on web (ReactNative if for Mobile), with a secondary focus on developing back-end using Node/NestJS and cloud affluent. You will ensure that UI components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure and participate in team design sessions and scrum/agile ceremonies. If required, you must be willing to wear any of the other hats that is required to make the project successful and always ready to learn new technology on the fly and deliver the results.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• 
  Research, prototype, and develop software solutions to solve problems across retail
• Stay up to date with tech, prototype with and learn new technologies/emerging libraries
• Collaborate & Learn from - peers across multiple disciplines, such as UX Design Partners, Products and Systems Design Teams, computer vision & machine learning Engineers.
• Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering.

"MUST HAVE" SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• 
  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with development using JavaScript & related Technologies
• Last 3+ years of hands-on responsive web development using react.js/React-Native
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, SSO, OAUTH, etc..
• Experience with web frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, LESS, Bootstrap, Dust Demonstrated awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues, and client-side performance
• Has Experience creating accessible components, including knowledge of ARIA and WCAG conformance.
• Solid Experience using State Management, Storybook, pagination, etc..
• Has very good understanding of supporting APIs, cache layers
• Understanding of MVC / MVVM / MVP structure and development patterns
• Experience working with AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• 
  Good experience with API development using Node/Nest.js and MongoDB
• Experience with various UI toolkits and interaction models
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• 3+ years of experience in deploying code on S3/CloudFront, API Gateway, Apache HTTP, NGINX
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Gulp, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Knowledge of Microservices based architect
• Good to Have: Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline, AWS Cloud Formation Deployments, AWS/Azure Certifications.

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 4+Years

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Cloud Certifications are a Plus
