Job description

Position Description
- Core team member of 3PL SAP application development DevOps team responsible for delivery of new SAP service functionality and support of 3PL operations
- Plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of business problems to solve with SAP and other technology solutions
- Provide technical architectural leadership, design and implement technical solutions in SAP for business needs
- Help govern the introduction of new technologies. reviews, aligns, and drives technology plans with enterprise goals, business plans and business processes
- Identify, evaluate, and develop solutions and procedures that meet user requirements.
- Applies SAP SD functional knowledge to design and customize technology solutions and workflow systems that enable these functions.
- Perform SAP SD configuration and development work to support new and existing functionality.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with the SAP technical analysts and developers to ensure proper and effective coding of programs to meet business requirements.
- Perform integration testing to ensure that new functionality does not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Partners with other team members and McKesson technology and RxC 3PL stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and early life support of service changes.
- Performs Operational support activities and On Call duties as assigned in DevOps model

- Serves as key team resource for business analysis, design, and SAP configuration activities.
- Ensures that assigned tasks are completed on time and are of high quality.
- Collaborates closely with business subject matter experts (SMEs), IT Solution Architects and Users to identify, define and document operational needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
- Interfaces with Business SMEs, and IT solution architects to interpret and clarify functional details and process change requirements involving SAP modules:
- Collaborates closely with other team members to design and develop custom ABAP code where required.
- Performs functional configuration tasks for SAP modules to satisfy business requirements.
- Tracks and documents changes in functional and business specifications and writes detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users.
- Works with other team members to perform unit and system test activities
- Collaborates with members from other teams to perform integration testing of the solution from end to end.
- Demonstrates solutions to interested parties such as Business SMEs and IT solution architects in Sprint Review meetings.
- Collaborates with other team members to assist migration teams in migrating code and configuration changes into production.
- Collaborates with other team members to provide early life support and post go-live support for the configuration changes, as required, after components have been deployed in production.
- Identifies opportunities for improving business processes in partnership with process owners and management through SAP and associated information systems.
- Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff on matters related to assigned area.
- Participates in Regular Scrum Team Activities or AGILE SAFe ceremonies.
- Continuously improve delivery of services, achieve Scrum Team's performance targets
- Ensure accurate and timely status reporting.
- Ensure PI planning commitments are met.
- Work with other team members to improve accuracy of sizing estimates.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years' experience in software engineering and/or software architecture.
Critical Skills
- 4+ years in business analysis, requirements definition, and building SAP systems solutions.
- Multiple lifecycle SD implementations or 4+ years SAP SD experience
- Solid understanding of the Order to Cash business process.
- Proven hands-on SAP configuration experience in all SD modules.
- Solid knowledge of general SAP solutions and modules.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- 4+ years in an Information Technology Role.
- Two full life cycle implementations or 5 years SAP OTC/SD experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP Vistex Chargebacks and Rebates
- Understanding of core SAP BW technologies and tools.
- Ability to design technical solutions that operate efficiently in high transaction volume scenarios.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex technical environment.
- Demonstrated change leadership skills (i.e., ability to effectively manage communication, negotiate successful outcomes, identify risks, engage correct stakeholders, etc.).
- Excellent business process knowledge and business analysis skills.
- Technical skills for understanding the development, configuration, implementation and support of business solutions.
- Proven work history that includes multiple projects implemented through all phases of a development lifecycle and Operational support experience.
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe and/or SCRUM methodologies a plus.
- Product knowledge of market leading SaaS based OTC solutions
- System appreciation of cloud based software products and basic knowledge of API interfaces
- Ability to perform accurate high level and detailed sizing.
Education
4-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Certifications/Licensure
SAP Certifications in relevant areas are a plus
