Dockworker/Forklfit LaPorte TX

Job description

**Dock Worker / Material Handler (must have sit-down Forklift experience)**

**Schedule: M - F, 8 AM - 5 PM $18/hr**

**Location: La Porte, TX 77571**

**Duration: Temporary to Permanent 10 Openings**

+ Loading and unloading boxes of various products (shoes, clothing, accessories etc.) up to 50 lbs either by hand or using a sit-down forklift

+ For heavier packages (50+ lbs) use a buddy-system

+ More freight, open and close trailers

+ Warehouse organization and clean of work areas and yard

+ Stocking, shelving and pulling of orders

+ Able to follow instructions and work with little to no supervision

+ Needing dependable employees who can be productive at work everyday

+ Must have steel-toe shoes / boots

+ Receive pick sheets and pull orders / items from shelves and prepare for shipping

+ Packing, wrapping pallets and staging or outgoing orders

+ Must have uniform - red shirts and khaki / docker style pants

+ Ability to cross-train and learn other warehouse functions

+ Positive, team-player attitude

Pay: $18 hourly
