Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Associate Construction Project Manager to our location in Lubbock, TX.

We are seeking a Associate Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day management of capital projects located within owned and leased properties. Typical project sizes range from $25,000 to $5M. This position is the entry-level role within the construction management structure. In this position, the ACPM will have a modified project portfolio, increasing in volume and complexity as experience allows.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing project leadership, coordination and facilitating teamwork of project teams to meet project goals on projects within the range of $25,000 to $5M.
* Provides support to construction project managers on larger, more complex projects.
* In collaboration with the Senior CPM, accountable for developing and maintaining project budgets.
* Responsible for working with department managers, service line directors, and chief executives to develop project scopes.
* Responsible for developing and managing RFP's for architectural and general construction services. Under the direction of the Senior CPM, review, score, interview and recommend for award.
* Participates in design meetings with architectural and end user teams.
* Review design documents for quality, ensure compliance with standards and local agency requirements.
* Responsible for developing infection control procedures with safety and accreditation teams. Monitor compliance of procedures during construction.
* Review and approve architectural add services, construction change orders, invoices and construction pay applications.
* Responsible for overall project schedule, budget, scope and project safety.
* Manages vendors to ensure top quality work is being performed in a timely manner to ensure good stewardship of financial resources.
* Accountable for clear communication with project vendors, engineering, information services, clinical engineering, accreditation, safety teams, local jurisdictions, internal project teams, supply chain, and senior leadership.
* Inspect construction to ensure conformance to design documents.
* Participates in furniture selection meetings, manages procurement and move in of materials.
* Coordinates internal teams including but not limited to information services, EPIC, clinical engineering, accreditation, safety and physical plant operations as they relate to projects and supply chain.
* Accountable for maintaining basic administration files relevant to projects.
* Responsible for final project move in and go live. Coordination of moves for internal and external teams as well as physical move of employees.
* Accountable for maintaining and completing construction punch list.
* Responsible for providing project close out documents to Archibus data teams for storage.
* Must be able to travel throughout region.
Required qualifications:
* Valid driver's license
* Two (2) or more years of construction experience
Preferred qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture or business management
* Will consider at a minimum of an Associate's degree and a blend of experience.
* PMP certificate is desirable
* Healthcare experience
