Responsibilities:
The Contract Employee Relations Specialist is a collaborative and trusted partner who provides support for the Employee Relations Management team. This role provides exposure to the ER Manager role and how it functions within the broader HR and organizational ecosystem, as well as the opportunity to learn from an experienced group of ER professionals. The ideal candidate will have foundational HR/ER knowledge and experience with aspirations to further develop a career in HR.
Responsibilities
Partner with the company's COVID response team to respond to employee reported cases and/or exposures, including processing documentation to support leaves of absence.
Monitors compliance with the company's vaccine protocols, engaging with leaders and employees as needed to address non-compliance.
Supports the ER Management team with recording corrective actions in the company's HRIS and uploading supporting documents.
May provide coaching and education to employees and people managers on policies and guidelines to enable decision-making processes that foster a fair and equitable work environment.
Provide ideas and recommendations to improve processes and overall effectiveness of the ER function.
Work with ER Management team to report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to identify trends and address root causes.
Partner with all Human Resources constituents to ensure ongoing alignment on delivering the appropriate employee experience
Submit approved employee changes/corrections to the HR Service Center for processing.
Run a variety of ad-hoc reports, drawing insights and conducting analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2+ years' experience in an HR role preferred.
Solid understanding of federal and state employment and labor laws
Proficient in Office 365/Google Docs.
Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities at once and prioritize without jeopardizing deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, with the ability to change direction quickly and seamlessly.
Process-improvement mindset, with an inclination for identifying more efficient ways of working.
Strong collaboration skills and a "one team" mindset, with an eagerness to offer assistance, and both provide and accept feedback.
6-9 Month contract assignment
