SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to help franchises grow overall sales, by supporting in large bulk sales, identifying and driving sales to underperforming customers and working with the franchisees to re-establish contact with customers who are no longer purchasing from Winzer. This person will work closely with the franchisees to retain and grow sales/customers and identify new opportunities. The job includes, but is not limited to, a high volume of phone interaction with franchisees and vendors, sourcing a wide variety of products, entering customer orders, tracking shipments, resolving customer issues, negotiating price with suppliers, prioritizing daily workload, working closely with team members, and involvement in the general day-to-day operations of the inside sales department.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- College degree required or the equivalent in industry experience
- Minimum 5 years procurement, marketing, or inside sales experience in the industrial, automotive, fleet and trucking, oil and gas, or similar maintenance and products industry working with a wide variety of related products
- Background in the distribution industry is a plus

- Communicate professionally and effectively in English
- Computer literate with typing skills of 55 WPM and 10-key by touch
- AS400 platform knowledge preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Handle incoming phone, fax and electronic inquiries for quotes and information
- Greet all callers in a courteous and professional manner
- Identify and source a wide variety of MRO products
- Identify sales opportunities and work with franchisees to grow sales through telemarketing, e-commerce and traditional marketing avenues
- Achieve and exceed all sales goals provided
- Assist in department marketing strategies and campaigns
- Sales and training collateral
- Process RFQs (requests for quotes) timely and accurately
- Communicate pricing and availability to franchisees with speed and accuracy
- Assist in tracking and monitoring product shipments and deliveries
- Research and resolve issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Take accurate notes and promptly enter information into the quotes system
- Promptly respond promptly to all inquiries and provide requested documentation
- Quote freight on "drop ship" and bulk orders
- Handle inquiries on other special/drop-ship programs including VSN, FDP and GSA
- E-mail co-workers to share vendor, source, and product informatio n
- Assist coworkers and work together as a team
- Abide by all department and workplace policies
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to efficiently use a desktop computer equipped with standard keyboard and mouse
- Some light lifting and/or movement of products (boxed or unboxed) and catalogs materials may be involved
- May need to enter the warehouse facility where close toe shoes are required to inspect or return product
