Position Overview:

Alkami is hiring a Mobile Automation Engineer who will collaborate with members from Test Engineering, Client Success and Implementation to drive test automation and satisfy customer requests to ensure quality of releases for Alkami's mobile applications. The team works directly with many different groups to provide automated solutions that add value to the testing cycle. We're looking for a strong Developer with an appreciation for software testing. Someone that can problem solve and debug complex solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and improving an automation framework for delivering quality releases of our Mobile applications. You would be part of a small but high performing team of developers in an individual contributor role, but have ample opportunity to excel and grow your career as a Mobile Automation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Gather and analyze requirements


• Make automation framework and design recommendations


• Code, document, and test your contributions in a team-oriented environment


• Assists in mentoring junior level developers


• Support the team for a wide range of problem complexities and areas


• Ability to solve most high level problems independently


• Works on day to day development activities on the automation team


• Develop tests using a Page Object Model to automate user actions


• Develop tests that confirm behavior for system level changes in the application


• Expected to communicate concerns/issues on test coverage


• Develop programs needed to ensure application coverage

Qualifications:

• 2+ years Mobile; Android, iOS, Flutter, or other relevant mobile platform


• 3+ years of Development experience in a fast moving agile environment


• 5+ years general development experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience with native mobile including iOS, Android and Appium would be a Major plus


• Mid level understanding of one or more programming languages (Javascript, Dart, Kotlin, Swift, Python, etc.)


• Mid level or higher understanding of one or more automation testing frameworks (Appium, Cypress, Selenium, etc)


• Experience writing test automation for Mobile devices


• Understanding of various software development methodologies in an agile environment


• Understanding of industry accepted testing principles


• Experience in web application development or testing


• Familiar with Javascript or service virtualization would be a plus
