Role Overview and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement plans for final test systems.
• Implement systems using automated test equipment, bench equipment and custom-designed hardware.
• Lead project team resources as assigned to validation/test activities.
• Develop and deliver technical content including software, boards, plans and reporting.
• Manage assigned projects through development lifecycle; demonstrate ownership and end-to-end accountability to oversee and complete projects in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Work with other departments within the organization to develop and refine validation and final test requirements.
• Resolve engineering design and test problems.
• Communicate requirements, schedules and deliverable information to internal customers and suppliers.
• Generate technical requirement specifications for externally contracted work.
• Contribute to product design reviews providing validation/test considerations.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:
• BSEE or above
• 10-15 years minimum experience with experience in semiconductor validation activities and test system implementation.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor and device testing.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience leading projects of various sizes.
• Experience working with internal cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing requirements for internal and external use
• Ability to read and understand detailed technical documents such as design drawings, mechanical drawings, processes and product specifications.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Strong communications skills both verbally and written. Capable of working effectively with staff, co-workers and supervisors.
• Experience with optical systems is a plus.
• Experience in programming in C++ or testers required.
• Failure Analysis (DFMEA) experience is a plus.
• Personal Attributes: High-energy, creative and resourceful self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills. He/she is highly intelligent and enthusiastic with a commitment to excellence. The candidate must be able to balance theoretical thought with practical execution.

Works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force.

Potential travel up to 20% including global travel
