We Are Hiring Ascension Seton Williamson has a wonderful oppotunity for a Director of Pharmacy on their team! Schedule: Primarly Days (must also be available to work additional times based on needs of the dept) Location: Ascension Seton Williamson, Round Rock TX What You Will Do Direct pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization. Direct the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department. Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning. Oversee the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s). Utilize broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensure accountability for the department's compliance. Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors. Implement specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement. Participate in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implements and monitors compliance with revenue integrity processes. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required. Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required. Master's degree preferred. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
