Job description

Our client is seeking an HR Generalist I to join there fast-growing team in the biotechnology industry! This is a great role for someone looking to grow in their career and is very hands on; Employee Relations is key as you will be assisting in recruiting efforts.

The HR Generalist I will report to the office, but will be allowed to work from one one day per week!

$60,000-$70,000 DOE
6- 12 month Contract role with the possibility of early conversion

Responsibilities:
* Maintain company HRIS system.
* Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
* Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
* Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to support the hiring demand of the organization.
* Responsible for all offboarding, including exit paperwork and interviews.
* Assist with internal employment investigations.
* Assist employees with day-to-day HR questions and requirements.
* Manage Payroll/Timekeeping assistance/inquiries
* Assist with Special Leaves and ADA accommodation processes.
* Provide individual and group training on a variety of HR tools, policies and procedures, management and topics, as required.
* Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
* Communicate closely with Finance and other functional organizations on a variety

* Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
* Must be extremely detailed, organized and conscientious.
* Excellent ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally.
* Must be well versed in Microsoft and Google Suites, and maintaining the company's HRIS System (Paycom Experience a Plus)!
