Job Details

The Director of Clinical Services/Administrator is responsible for the overall clinical operation of the Hospice agency. This role oversees the dynamic interdisciplinary team and ensures compliance and excellent patient care. Key responsibilities involve management, leading the activities of the nursing team, providing clinical direction, and ensuring compliant growth and profitability of the agency.

This individual drives team work, leads by example, and has a focus on quality care. As the Director of Clinical Services/Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Hospice program. Additional responsibilities include the following providing supervision of the Hospice Clinical Staff including RN Case Managers, LVNs, CNAs, Chaplains, and Hospice Social Workers, ensuring that best practices are embraced throughout the patient and family hospice experience.

Roles of the Director of Clinical Services/Administrator include
  • Participating in the Orientation Program to assist in training, motivation, and productivity of all team members
  • Overseeing the QAPI program to ensure accuracy and regulatory fulfillment of timely documentation
  • Focusing on Medicare Quality Measures and other industry standards
  • Ensuring that staffing ratios are sound and patient focused
  • Overseeing the IDT process leading all disciplines to ensure quality care coordination
  • Managing all client complaints ultimately achieving patient/family satisfaction
  • Leading all disciplines to embrace the organizations mission and philosophy
  • Works with the Finance Team to create budgets and embraces all fiscal programs established by the Executive Team
  • Supports all operational business as well as clinical objectives
  • Working to create a positive work environment for all team members and leads the team to exceed expectations and patient satisfaction
