Organization
The mission of the Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Services (CREWS) organization is to deliver workplace experiences that amaze our employees and advance the well-being of our people and planet. As part of HP's CREWS team, the Portfolio Strategy & Planning organization leads the deployment and optimization activities for HP's physical real estate footprint, covering 20 MSF of space across nearly 200 locations.
Description
As an M&A Program Manager within CREWS' Strategy & Planning team, you will apply your technical, leadership and communications skills to develop and execute plans that successfully integrate new businesses and staff into the HP Workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the Corporate Development team, the Integration Management Office and CREWS' partners to identify opportunities and requirements related to M&A initiatives.
- Develop and maintain master schedule of activities, engagements, and deliverables required to support acquisition and integration plans.
- Establish and lead engagements with CREWS teams and partner organizations to ensure clear understanding of requirements and to ensure progress-to-plan.
- Lead communications and reporting efforts between CREWS, its Partner organizations, and the HP Integration Management office / Corporate Development functions.
- Identify risks to execution; establish and direct remediation plans as necessary.
- Develop, implement, and oversee metrics, dashboards, and management reports as may be required.
- Review and revise procedures and playbooks to improve M&A related capabilities within CREWS.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance or Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- 7-10 years' experience in a large corporate environment; prior M&A experience in Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Development and/or Corporate Advisory (consultant/advisor) strongly desired
- PMP or PgMP certification strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and be capable of working with limited guidance
- Mastery of English required along with excellent written and verbal communications
- Keen awareness of cultural differences and considerations when dealing with geographically distributed organizations
- Ability to effectively synthesize complex topics into salient points, identifying and prioritizing risks and opportunities according to objectives and implications
- Strong relationship management skills: highly collaborative nature with ability to interact and influence across an organization and with all levels
- Ability to work extended ("global") hours, frequently on short notice, possibly on weekends or holidays
Location: Western U.S. - Pacific or Mountain time zone strongly preferred
Remote work possible, dependent on qualifications
The estimated range of compensation for this job at the time of this posting is $120,000 - $140,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay.
