L3Harris is actively seeking for a Business Analyst 4 for our location in Waco, TX for an indirect hire opportunity that will provide business analytics and reporting to functional areas or projects/programs. We offer competitive benefits and great relocation package for those who qualify.

Overall Summary:

Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management. Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight. Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for (FP&A) financial planning and analysis.
  • Develop and analyze financial models to support strategic initiatives
  • Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance.
  • Analyzes business processes and problems to formulate and develop recommendations to meet customer and/or internal project requirements.
  • Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
  • Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Reviews and analyzes company cash positions as well as short-term and long-term cash forecasts
  • Perform analysis in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
  • Other duties assigned or tasks that maybe required for role
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years prior relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of FP&A or financial analyst experience
  • Advanced Excel skills experience required
  • Strong customer service approach, self-directed, assertive, with a positive attitude
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Careful attention to detail and follow-through
  • SAP and Hyperion experience preferred
  • Highly organized work style
  • Proactive and strong time-management skills
  • Experience working in a consolidation role preferred
