SUMMARY

Select Bankcard is a full-service payments technology provider that is local to Utah County. We are actively recruiting for our Accounting Manager position. Select Bankcard is looking for someone to bring their hard work and innovative ideas to the table to improve the company.


WHAT WE DO

To put it simply, Select Bankcard helps businesses process payments such as credit cards, debit cards, ACH, gift cards, etc. From start to finish, we do everything for our merchants from processing their applications, setting up their account, supplying them with equipment to process transactions, performing account changes, troubleshooting product issues, maintaining risk, handling disputes, etc. We continually aim to improve and broaden the services we provide in the payments space so our merchants can depend on us to take care of them entirely.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The Accounting Manager position compensation depends on qualifications and academic background. WORK DESCRIPTION

The Accounting Manager will contribute to the success of the Company by overseeing every financial aspect of the Company. The Accounting Manager will prepare, reconcile, organize, and report to management the financial progress and results of the Company. Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Create, manage, and improve all of the Company's financial processes and procedures;
  • Monitor the Company's bank accounts, accounts receivables, and accounts payables.
  • Manage the Company's monthly financial close process and report results to management;
  • Facilitate the Company's annual financial audit;
  • Analyze and reconcile the Company's cost of services, work with vendors for any necessary corrections, and ensure that these costs are driving through all internal and external reporting;
  • Assist with the Company's budgeting activities;
  • Prepare management reporting, in an accurate, timely, and informative way; and
  • Provide strategic financial input on the Company's short and long-term goals.


WORK SCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Flexible work schedule Monday through Friday after training (training schedule will be 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Employees get an hour lunch
  • This position requires employee to commute daily to our Lehi, UT office
  • You will be in a private office!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience in a relevant financial position
  • Advanced QuickBooks and Excel experience required
  • BS in related field (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
