NG Space Systems - Propulsion Systems is currently seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Business Management Analyst for our PLM Systems & Digital Strategy team supporting several locations within the Space Systems but home location would be the Bacchus (Magna), UT facility.
This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of organizational change management activities in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consolidation and process improvement initiatives - including identification of key stakeholders, change assessment/gap analysis on business processes and tools, communications strategy and training activities. This role will also be a key contributor to the Northrop Grumman's digital transformation efforts and lead change management for PLM adoption within the Space sector. This position will be located in Utah and will report to Propulsion Systems Engineering.
Position Summary / Responsibilities
Engage as a key member of the change management initiative throughout the life cycle, and act as a trusted adviser and influencer to SP and DTO leadership, sponsors and stakeholders.
Develop a change management strategy and plan to drive adoption of new systems and initiatives by utilizing standard methods and tools.
Lead and work closely with the project team to develop stakeholder outreach and engagement efforts to ensure awareness, understanding, buy-in, and support.
Perform readiness assessments to understand and document the current state.
Build a change network to ensure 2 way feedback and conduct interviews to identify stakeholder needs.
Lead the design and development of communications plans, training strategies and associated materials.
Create consistent broad-scale and targeted internal-based communications, including email announcements, design promotional materials, prepare/conduct presentations and talking points for leadership briefings.
Provide input to and maintain a close awareness of project plans and manage change plans/activities accordingly.
Support project close-out activities, including additional communication or documentation needs, establishment of hyper care communication process and participation in lessons learned evaluations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree required plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in change management, consulting or large-scale change and project management efforts
Position can be filled one level higher, 9 years with BS or 7 years with MS
Working knowledge of change management design, communication, training, project management and effectiveness practices
Effectively communicate throughout various levels of the organization and experience directly interfacing with end users as well as senior leadership.
Experience implementing business systems
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools; organizational design, culture change, people performance and Prosci Change Practitioner certification a plus.
Excellent project management skills and PMP certification a plus.
Exceptional people skills & ability to influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
Excellent strategic thinking, demonstrated consultative skills working in a dynamic and matrix environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through presentations and influence others.
Proactive identification, root-cause analysis skills and communication of issues that may impede an initiative.
Ability to use critical thinking and strong problem solving skills to identify alternative solutions and the ability to be flexible; quickly change directions and priorities when needed and within challenging time constraints.
Ability to work independently and make independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts in a team environment.
Previous experience in the Aerospace & Defense or Engineering & Science industries
Salary Range: 72200 - 108400
Salary Range 2: 89500 - 134300
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
